I'm actually listening to this right now, and I have to say it has some nice songs! MellowHype released their free album 'Blackenedwhite' on Halloween last year! The album has 15 tracks and features from Odd Future members Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Mike G, Earl Sweatshirt & Domo Genesis! The beats are done by the second member of the group, Left Brain, with vocals from Hodgy Beats. It's been a long time since I posted a mixtape in the Rewind series, but here goes. Kicking off the series anew with MellowHype's mixtape 'YelloWhite', released last year. So basically since I started with Odd Future in the series I thought I might as well continue. The group MellowHype consists of Hodgy Beats & Left Brain, the group being one of many in OFWGKTA. In my opinion Hodgy Beats is easily top 3 within Odd Future, with Tyler, The Creator & Earl Sweatshirt. So Hodgy raps on this mixtape and Left Brain makes the beast, simple. The tape has 14 tracks and offers a nice listen when you play it from start to finish. They also have another mixtape 'Blackenedwhite' which was released after, and is the next in the Rewind series. It's also getting a re-release on Fat Possum Records this year. That's about it, no download this ane make sure you enjoy it!
